After

After is a short film about a woman who believes she may be the last person on earth after an apocalyptic event. She arrives at an abandoned farm in a borrowed car, and spends her days exploring the surrounding outbuildings for objects left behind by the owners. Her collection grows, but she is haunted by fleeting images of a wild boy from the woods who she is not sure exists. The film is an exploration of loneliness, the importance of material objects to memory, and is a feminist take on the post-apocalyptic genre.
