Hah-LOH

In this project I used the windows of the apartment I stayed in for my artist residency in Berlin to send messages to my neighbors. Using the guidebook, I broadcast phonetically spelled messages of basic German phrases to emphasize my isolation and helplessness in this foreign situation. Every afternoon I installed a new message for the residents of the massive Gropiusstadt complex of apartments.
